With a strong passion since childhood for both The Arts and The Sciences, and with a Bachelors in Physics and a Masters in Space Planetary Sciences, while being funded by NASA for fourteen years, Irene, had a question pop up in her head as she was giving a talk at a conference to an audience of space scientists at NASA Ames while wearing very fabulous very high heels…  why have we gone to the Moon and there is still no effective solution for the pain women feel when wearing high heels? she decided it was enough of this and she set out to find a much better and more beautiful solution.
